February meeting and making a delivering Valentine's Day Baskets to area care homes.
Evan gave a talk on selecting corn for the fair and Malissa gave a talk on making her decorated cake. The club collected items for the Seneca Food Pantry.
The November meeting met at 36 alleys. At the meeting, the Achievers 4-H club welcomed 8 new 4-H members. Officers were installed. After the meeting members enjoyed bowling, pizza and snacks.

The first thing the club did was install 2017-2018 club officers. Members chose what committees they wish to serve on and the committees met. President Owen Strathman called to order the Achiever’s 4-H meeting. Evan lead the 4-H pledge and the Pledge of Allegiance. There were 17 members, one Cloverbud, and three leaders present. Secretary Chloey Strathman read the minutes and we sang happy birthday to Maggie, Natalee, Kathryn, and Cole. Treasurer Mia Schmitz gave the treasurer’s report and Pam Deters gave the leaders report. 4-H week Committee reported on a Schwan's fundraiser for Puerto Rico 4-H clubs, a talk was given to Sacred Heart religion classes, and posters were hung at Seneca Twin Theatre and Little Steps Dance for 4-H week. Fundraising committee discussed the best choice label program. Community service talked about hanging bird feeders up at Sacred Heart Church. Programming reported on the program book. Fair/Club days committee gave some ideas for group presentations at 4-H club days. Fundraising, Community Service, Programming, Party Planning, and Fair/Club Days committee reports were given. In business, The club voted to purchase seed and install bird feeders somewhere on the grounds of Sacred Heart Church as a community service project. The club voted to have a bowling and pizza party and have a potluck and gift exchange at the December meeting. The next meeting will be November 19th 4pm at the Bowling Alley. For the program the club leaders went over how to make motions. To practice the club voted on ingredients for Chex Mix to be used for snacks. Then, Laura held recreation and the meeting was concluded.
