Achievers families did a great job at the bake sale to raise money for the food pantry! Also a thank you to the St. Mary's parishioners allowing us to set up our bake sale and buy our baked goods!

Achievers area host this year. More information will be coming. Nov. 8: Achievers 4-H Meeting JOIN ACHIEVERS 4-H CLUB FOR A PARTY! Our annual enrollment and bowling party will be Oct 11, 2015 beginning at 1pm at Seneca Bowl First our regular monthly meeting
followed by snacks and a game of bowling What is 48 Hours of 4-H: It is a program where 4-H members across the state of Kansas all engage in community service during 4-H week.
Our Project: Achievers will have a Bake Sale at St. Marys Church in St. Benedict on October 11, 2015 at 11am following Mass. Each Achievers family will bring 4 items to be sold. Proceeds will go to the Nemaha County Food Pantry. On Facebook: To keep in touch with other projects across the state "like" the Kansas 484H facebook page. ***For help selecting a project please see the Kansas 4-H Selection Guide Starting this year 4-H enrollment will be completely online. And new deadlines have been added as well. Online enrollment must be completed between Oct. 1st and Nov. 1st by returning members. At the October meeting there will be cards to fill out that will be used for contact information.
Please complete online enrollment at 4-H Online as soon as possible. You do not have to open a new account. If you have any trouble logging onto your account, contact the extension office and they will be able to help you. October 1st is the beginning of a new 4-H year. 4-H Week has the Achievers celebrating with many activities. T-Shirts: On October 7th, Achievers members are wearing their 4-H shirts to school.
Radio Ads: In September, members recorded radio ads to be aired during 4-H week. Listen to our local radio station to see if you hear them! Promotion: October 7th at 5pm, 4-Hers will hand out flyers to the Sacred Heart Religion classes in Baileyville. 484H Bake Sale: On October 11th at 11am, Achievers will hold a bake sale at St. Marys Church in St. Benedict following Mass. Proceeds from the bake sale will go to the benefit of the Nemaha County Food Pantry. Enrollment/Bowling Party: Also on October 11th at 1pm, Achievers will have their annual bowling party. Prospective new members are encouraged to attend. We will begin with our monthly meeting followed by snacks and a game of bowling. |
